Makbul Hossain (Rana) is a results-oriented textile professional with comprehensive expertise across the entire value chain—from fiber sourcing to finished garments. With a strong foundation in both operations and research, he has established a track record of delivering efficient, scalable and cost-optimized solutions within Bangladesh and international textile markets.
Rana’s core strength lies in integrating raw material sourcing for spinning, weaving / knitting for fabric development and dyeing finishing, garment manufacturing into a seamless and commercially viable ecosystem. His deep industry insight enables him to minimize waste, improve yield efficiency, and enhance product quality—key drivers of profitability and long-term sustainability for stakeholders.
Beyond conventional textile operations, Rana is actively advancing circular economy innovations, focusing on the transformation of cotton dust and textile waste into high-value, sustainable products, including:
- Biomass briquettes (Alternative energy source)
- Organic compost and biogas feedstock
- Potential applications in livestock feed

Quality and proper planning are very important in the textile and garment industry. As the Director of QA and Merchandising, my main goal is to ensure that every product meets high quality standards and customer expectations.
Quality Assurance (QA) helps us check every step of production, from raw materials to finished garments. We make sure the products are safe, durable, and well-made. At the same time, the Merchandising team works closely with Buyers, suppliers & production units. They ensure that orders are completed on time, within budget & according to design.
We believe in teamwork, honesty, and continuous improvement. By using modern technology and better management practices, we try to reduce waste, save costs, and improve efficiency.
Our focus is also on sustainability. We encourage eco-friendly production & responsible use of resources to protect our environment.
